Galatians 4:4 But when the fullness of the time had come, God sent forth His Son, born of a woman, born under the law, 5 to redeem those who were under the law, that we might receive the adoption as sons.
The month of April will be highlighted with the Easter celebrations. Although the Easter story has been compromised with pagan traditions and beliefs, we celebrate the truth that Jesus Christ came to seek and to save the lost. The story of The Cross highlights God fulfilling His own law of blood being the answer to mankind’s sins.
John the Baptist introduced Jesus as ‘the Lamb of God who takes away the sins of the world’, and later the writer of Hebrews stated ‘Without the shedding of blood there is no remission’. So we see the Easter story highlights that Jesus became the perfect sacrifice for mankind. The very name ‘Jesus’ means Jehovah Saviour and His blood gives us new life.
We see that Jesus was birthed into the world at the right time. The thought that God would robe Himself in a body (Jesus Christ), was planned from the beginning of time but fulfilled nearly 2000 years again……’When the fullness of time had come’……… The act of love that we see fulfilled when Jesus laid down His life on a cruel cross for our redemption still has power and authority over a sin-sick life today.
Power to break every chain, addiction, depression, self-doubt, broken life, broken marriages, helpless situations, there is power in The Blood, through the Name of Jesus. In our struggles and dilemmas, we can reach out to God and at just the right time, He intervenes. Never too late and never too early, always right on time.
